Looking for some Ladies

Hello all! I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself. I'm Kyler Grant Box, but the ladies can call me K.G.B. I'm a complicated kid. I love long walks on the beach, where I lounge around throwing rocks at the passing killer whales and kayakers.
I love watching Mikey Mouse's Clubhouse and Yo Gabba Gabba. I can't get enough of that Muno and Brobie, things just shouldn't look like that. I love to munch on cheese or gold fish while sitting on my dad's lap as he reads me a book. One of my most favorite things in the world is playing with and watching over my younger brother Logan. Don't let him fool you with his size, he can take a beating from me and doesn't even flinch. Life at the moment is great. My current love in life is playing with balls. There isn't anything more exciting than kicking the ball back and forth through the house or down the stairs. I recently picked up a new hobby, bikes. I know they are for riding, but I'm only interested in climbing on them. The sun is starting to show itself more allowing me more time outside and longer relaxing naps. My motto is "Never sweat anything, my parents will take care of it for me eventually.". Following this motto allows me to slow things down, look at the bigger picture, and smell the flowers.
I have a dark side as well. I enjoy the occasional tongue baths from dogs, and love terrorizing kitties with my high pitch screams as I chase them down. I can charm everyone that watches me, but love misbehaving for my parents. I'm honing my stealth skills by sneaking out of my bedroom after being put down for bed each night.
I can't complain about life. My first two years were wonderful and am looking forward to many more. My vocabulary is expanding each day. I just received notice that I've hit 36 inches and am now tall enough for the kiddie rides at the fair, I can't wait! If any of you ladies out there want to attend the fair with me this year let me know. I'll have my mother talk with your mother. In the mean time, keep living life.

Potty Time

I love to do lists, shopping lists, packing lists etc... So I decided to start a my favorites list weekly.  First one...My favorite places to go to the potty while on the road.  I am very particular when it comes to places to go to the bathroom especially on the road (no 7 Eleven for me) I will hold it as long as it takes.  Note, not in any particular order

1.  Zeffirino Ristorante at The Venetian Hotel
Are you kidding me, who wouldn't want to drive through the desert and relieve thyself in this beautiful restroom.

2.  The Beaver Valley Chevron:  When you are on a road trip heading south in Utah going to Vegas or Cali, stop in Beaver to potty.  Clean, pretty new bathrooms are a rarity on the road, so go here.  Then get your Oreo Blizzard and go have your picture taken in the ridiculously large chair out front.
No these are not my kids, but here is the big chair

3.   The Grand California Hotel:  While at Disneyland, never use the restrooms in the park.  Instead go to the Grand Californian Hotel, you will have to go through Downtown Disney to get there but it is worth the walk.  While there don't forget to go to the lobby.

 4.  If I am in University Place, WA and cannot get home in time I will stop at the church, and use my key card to get in.  Terrible I know but I am not going to the 7 Eleven.

Wow that is about it... I haven't explored Washington as much yet so if you have any places in Washington please add a comment....

One Of Those Days

I thought today was going to be a good day because after having breakfast, I got on the scale and I had lost 2 lbs since last week.  But it all went down hill from there.  I wanted to get to work at least 30 minutes before my first swim lessons to workout but of course Logan decides he is hungry just before it is time to go and Kyler needs a diaper change.  So I am running out the door just to make it to work on time.  When we get to Kids Club, Kyler doesn't want to go in and starts crying but of course I have to get to class.  So I tell the girl there "Sorry", and she says "you look tired already".  Classes go okay until the second class where I have 2 criers and one that just will not obey, but I got through.  My last class is Parent/Tot, it goes good but then I have to hurry and get me and Kyler showered and dressed before noon so I can get Logan before Kids Club closes.  By then Logan is starving, so I take Kyler into the Playground area so he can play with Gwenevere and I can nurse Logan in the corner.  When it is time to go, of course Kyler does not want to go.  So I have to carry him out kicking and screaming while pushing Logan in the stroller and caring multiple bags, thank goodness Elizabeth was there to help me out!  I get everyone in the car and notice I am without my swimming bag....

Of course on the way home I have to go to the grocery store, so I can stock up on cheese, bananas, juice, strawberries etc (all for Kyler).  Of course there is no parking spots up front and the car cart is no where to be found, so  I wait.  Finally one opens up and I hurry and grab the cart, hoping that no one notices I am leaving my kids alone in the car for half a second.  I get everyone in the cart and we are off.  Two seconds in the store Kyler decides he wants to get out of the car and run around,  I grab him and again he starts kicking and screaming, I put him in the cart and he kicks the cookies all over the cart.  We get to the back of the store and there is a basket full of balls (why the hell is there balls in the grocery store)  even though he has tons of balls at home he wants one of those.  I say "No"  and all hell breaks loose....Kyler starts having a tantrum and Logan starts crying.  I am about to just grab the kids and go, but I really need to go shopping so, I just go on shopping.  A lady comes up to me and says "your doing a good job"  I really don't know how to repond to this, so I say "thank you"  and go on my way.  I know she is trying to be nice, but it really doesn't not help the situation.  After about 10 minutes of Kyler screaming, Logan crying and people staring.  I finally get checked out and back in to the car.

Thank goodness Kyler went right to sleep.  On the ride home there was some tears and a lot of Chocolate!  Oh the joys of motherhood

Thank heavens for naps!
